Bombay Bicycle Club — Always Like This
Played: 2026-06-11 (Segment 4 — Indie anthems)
The second single and first chart entry (UK #97, April 2009) from debut I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose, produced by Jim Abbiss at Konk Studios. Loose, sunlit indie with that signature looping guitar figure — a jolt of energy to open the anthems segment. The "their first ever chart single" detail is the TikTok hook, though this track was not one of the week's official TikTok picks.
