Album: The Mirror | Released: 27 February 2026 | Label: 4AD. The fourth solo album from the Big Thief guitarist. Produced by bandmate James Krivchenia, with modular synths set up to be triggered by live instruments during recording. Features Adrianne Lenker on backing vocals, harpist Mary Lattimore, and ambient composer Alex Somers. 'Worms' has a semi-spoken intro reminiscent of Bob Dylan's Basement Tapes era and features a jazzy breakbeat with a catchy hidden chorus. Recorded on a Seiler upright piano inherited from his father. The album pays tribute to late collaborator Tucker Zimmerman.
