Played: 2026-03-06 (new release)
Album: HYMNS | Released: 27 February 2026 | Label: 99CHANTS20 (his own label). The fifth studio album from the Italian-German composer, DJ, and pianist. Recorded on an upright Seiler piano inherited from his father's side of the family during solitary improvisations in late winter and spring of 2021. All nine tracks are simply titled HYMN I through IX, with August noting they belong together as one body. August studied classical piano from age five before moving to electronic music. HYMNS is the companion piece to his expansive 2024 album VIS. He also presented a listening session with Inverted Audio at Reference Point, London.
