Dua Saleh is a Sudanese-American non-binary artist from Minneapolis. Their early EPs Rosebud (2019) and ROSETTA (2020) established them in a space between R&B, indie, and experimental pop. "Cállate" (released May 15, 2026) is the lead single from the forthcoming album Of Earth & Wires. The track blends bass-heavy Brazilian rhythms, eerie guitar lines, and electronic production, following two lovers through a post-apocalyptic world. At 2:00, it is the shortest track on the show.
Placement: Closes Segment 2 and bridges into the world sounds of Segment 3. The Brazilian rhythmic influence and the two-minute run time work as a pivot — the segment ends with a burst of something unfamiliar, which prepares the ear for Tamikrest. One of four Daily Music Report tracks, separated from the others across the show.

Now I gotta be honest, having Bon Iver on your track is a sure fire way to get me to play it, but this song by Sudanese born and Minnesotan raised Dua Saleh is fantastic in its own right. She's been raising money for Black Visions Collective since 2020 fighting police brutality, and it seems it's a fight that needs to keep being fought. Her new album 'Of Earth & Wires' is due 15 May via Ghostly International.
