Gouge Away — Figurine

Played: 2026-03-19

Released 11 March 2026 on Run For Cover Records, marking Gouge Away's signing to the label and their first new music since the 2024 album Deep Sage. Recorded live to tape at Jackpot! Recording Studio in Portland, Oregon by engineer Larry Crane (founder of Tape Op magazine). Also their first track with Theo Hartlett (Ovlov, Pet Fox) as a full songwriting member. Vocalist Christina Michelle wrote the lyrics on tour after digitising childhood home videos: 'I knew I was shy, a people-pleaser, and all these things, but it was different to watch it on film.' The 7-inch includes a vinyl-only cover of Grauzone's 'Eisbar' on the B-side. The band has upcoming dates supporting Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age.
