Laura Cahen — Sur la plage

Laura Cahen is a French singer-songwriter based in Paris, known for delicate folk chanson, sung primarily in French. "Sur la plage" was released April 28, 2026 via [PIAS] Recordings France as part of her album Side by Side, a collaboration with This Is the Kit (Kate Stables, British folk musician based in Paris). Gentle guitar work, French lyrics, bittersweet story of missed chances and beachside regret. Middle of segment six — the French language and acoustic intimacy sit naturally after Car Seat Headrest's confessional indie.
