Mary Queen of Scots were a UK indie band from the early 1990s influenced by Sarah Records; "Evensong" comes from a 1993 single. After years of inactivity, the band released the album Beachy Head Here I Come in October 2018. Verifiable information on the band is limited, and the name makes further research difficult — this entry is flagged as largely unverified due to very limited online presence.

TikTok angle: Hidden-gem/nobody-knows-this angle: a Birmingham band that dropped an album in 1993, disappeared for 25 years, then returned with three more albums in the next five years — a deep cut most listeners have never heard.
