Mojave 3 — Love Songs on the Radio
Played: 2026-06-25 (Segment 8 — Wind-down)
The opening track of Ask Me Tomorrow (16 October 1995, 4AD), the debut by Neil Halstead, Rachel Goswell and Ian McCutcheon after Slowdive — a starker, sparse, acoustic shift in direction. The demo tape that won their 4AD deal was itself titled Love Songs on the Radio. Slowcore melancholy before the close.
