19. Not For Radio — Ache

Not For Radio is the solo project of María Zardoya, lead vocalist of The Marías. Zardoya was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Snellville, Georgia. The Marías formed after she met drummer Josh Conway in Los Angeles; the band is known for bilingual lyrics and genre-blending dream pop. Not For Radio began in October 2025 with her first solo album Melt. "Ache" is from Bloom, released April 17, 2026 — a three-track EP built around personal growth and the symbolism of Spring. Zardoya has said Bloom will be her last release as Not For Radio "for a while." 4:25.

Placement: Closes Segment 6. The project ending after this EP is context that sits quietly in the background — weight without announcement.
