Sophia Stel
Plays on LTZ: (historical total not available beyond this vault's episode folders)
Sophia Stel is a Vancouver-based self-producing artist. "Bitches Talk Shit" was released 22 April 2026 and is her first release on A24 Music, the record label arm of A24 Films. She produced the track herself, blending dream pop with electronic production ranging from tech-noise to witch house. She was opening for Lorde around the time of release. Placement: opens Segment 2 as the TikTok track — a gear-change from the atmospheric first section.
TikTok angle: A24 (the film studio) has started a record label; Sophia Stel is framed as their first signing, self-produced debut single. Last week she opened for Lorde in Los Angeles. Delivery: brisk and punchy, give "A24 — the film studio —" a beat, title lands flat with no lift.
