Steve Lacy — the feeling
Played: 2026-06-11 (Segment 1 — Atmospheric open) (new release)
Released 5 June 2026, the lead single from Oh yeah? (out 17 July via RCA), Lacy's third solo album and first since 2022's Gemini Rights. Written, performed and produced by Lacy. A groovy but somber song about a relationship in turmoil, built on wah-wah bass and cavernous melody, the refrain "Am I your baby?" circling the same anxious doubt. Sits second to keep the opening reflective but add a pulse under the surface.
