Widowspeak
Plays on LTZ: (historical total not available beyond this vault's episode folders)
From Roses (released 5 June 2026, Captured Tracks), the Brooklyn duo's seventh album and first in four years since 2022's The Jacket. Recorded at the Old Carpet Factory on the Greek island of Hydra with longtime touring members. "Wondering" is track five — Molly Hamilton and Robert Earl Thomas working their usual register of hazy, nostalgic dream-folk, turning ordinary daily drift into something quietly reflective. Opens the show because it gives Chris room to talk over a slow, unhurried intro without fighting the track.
TikTok angle: Widowspeak's first album in four years was recorded on the Greek island of Hydra, in a building called the Old Carpet Factory. Opens the show. This was TikTok 1, posted live during the show.
