11. Witch Post — Witching Hour

Duo — Alaska Reid and Dylan Fraser — who make folkloric, surreal indie rock with a pastoral, slightly haunting quality. Butterfly is their debut EP on Partisan Records.

Witching Hour is the emotional core of the EP. A winter afternoon slipping into evening, a stillness that feels uncomfortable. A parking lot, drifting trash, an inner voice that will not stay quiet.

The refrain — "it's the witching hour" — lands not as drama but as quiet recognition. A daily confrontation with yourself.
