World News — The Way It Goes

Vocalist Alex Evans: 'The Way it Goes' was mostly written and demo'd back in 2020' — its phrases are 'collections of words of how I was feeling at the time,' a direct throwback to the band's pandemic-era formation years (they formed 2018). Lead single of their debut album In Purgatory (out 16 October 2026) — an album whose songs were written years apart, some 'weeks/days before hitting the studio.' Video directed by Pablo Rossano; the 'chic 80s-tinged' single follows their 2024 EP Mindsnap and 2025 singles 'Don't Want to Know' and 'Everything Is Coming Up Roses.'
