Second Brain

This page documents how the show is produced — the tools, the workflow, and the AI setup. It's here for anyone who wants to build something similar for their own projects.

The short version

You keep your notes, plans, and ideas in Obsidian. You connect an AI agent that can read, write, and search those notes. The AI reads a CLAUDE.md file that tells it what you're working on and how you like to work. Result: an assistant that knows your context.

The workflow

Each show week follows the same pattern:

  1. Chris picks a Qobuz playlist → the AI extracts the tracklist and starts research
  2. Chris sequences the tracks and writes the Moment in History segment
  3. The AI writes research notes, episode descriptions, and TikTok picks
  4. Post-show: the AI captions and renders TikTok clips, then schedules them

Running the show

The show goes live on Mixxx (DJ software) through a local Icecast stream, broadcast to Mixcloud. The AI handles the overlay — episode title, track info, artwork — via a local web server.

Why this works

The AI handles the research and admin. Chris handles the creative decisions. The result is a one-person show that sounds like it has a team behind it, because the time that used to go into Googling now goes into the music.
